The Light Room Agreement

Here in the light Room we are not only creating a safe space to talk about our lives and faith, but we are creating a brave space to encourage, support, challenge, and listen to each other. practicing the following behaviors will help us honor this space:

1. Confidentiality

What’s shared here stays here but what's learned here leaves here. I will never tell anyone else something a sister has shared with me in confidence

2. Authenticity

I will be as open and honest with my story and my struggles as I can be at this time.

3. Love

I will affirm the members of the group no matter what opinions I may have developed in the past. I will love my sisters like Christ and pray for God to continue to transform everyone into the likeness of His Son.

6. Encouragement

I understand every woman in this group is at a different point in her journey with the Lord.  I will be considerate and self aware so I know when to take space or make space for others.
